Why Themed Parties Are Key to Business Travel
You might be wondering, "What does dancing to 80s music have to do with my business?" The answer is everything. One of the biggest challenges for business owners is finding time to work on their business instead of in it. You're busy handling the day-to-day, and it's hard to step back and think strategically.
That's where a work-and-play trip comes in. By setting aside dedicated time for business tasks on board, you can focus on big-picture goals without the distractions of your office or home. And just as important, you can truly step away and recharge. An event like 80s Night isn't just a party; it's a planned break that helps you de-stress, get energized, and prevent burnout. The best business leaders know that downtime is essential for staying creative and focused. So, go all out, dance, and know that you're not just having fun—you're investing in your own well-being and, ultimately, the success of your business.
What to wear on 80s Night:
This is what me and Chase wore to 80s night.
Though there's no strict dress code, you're strongly encouraged to dress your brightest and boldest. Think neon, glitter, leg warmers, and statement accessories. The more vibrant, the better.
As you walk around you’ll see
The Full Glam:
From Neon spandex or leggings in hot pink, electric blue, or lime green, to off-the-shoulder tops or oversized graphic tees, Mini skirts or tutus layered with fishnets or patterned tights, chunky jewelry, big hoop earrings, stacked bangles, and bold chains. Leg warmers & scrunch socks, even big hair with teased curls, a side ponytail, or crimped waves, neon windbreakers or blazers, graphic tees or band shirts, acid-wash jeans or parachute pants, topped off with high-top sneakers or retro Converse. Lastly paired with headbands, aviator sunglasses, and chunky watches. And of course the Optional mullet wig — guaranteed laughs (and great photos).
The Casual but fun :
High-waisted jeans + graphic tee, Bright-colored blazer over jeans, Sneakers and socks, Simple neon accessories such as, hoop earrings, bangles, or a neon headband instead of a full outfit, Soft curls or a high ponytail, Jeans + band tee (or retro logo tee), Lightweight neon windbreakers, Sneakers or Converse, with accessory add-ons such as, aviator sunglasses, a thin headband, or a chunky watch.
